The Dome Cinema is a fantastic place to watch to your favourite films. It now has three screens (1 large & 2 smaller auditoriums) all equipped with the latest spec visual and audio equipment for a great experience. The seating in the main auditorium is well spaced and adequately comfortable with access available to all. The slightly angled balcony seats on both sides are a personal favourite of mine with great views of screen and they also lets you have a nose at who else is in the cinema below you. The other two auditoriums are well designed and hold a comfortable amount of people with the latest sporting a selection of twin sofa style seats for those of you that want to be right next to your favourite person. Tickets and the wide range of snacks available are well priced, plus you can even get yourself an alcoholic drink (or coffee) from the bar area without breaking the bank. The staff are mainly young adults/teenagers who I have always found to be very polite & friendly and clearly share a passion for a wide range of films, even the old ones. Another great aspect of this cinema is knowing it’s of the oldest working cinema’s in England. Just looking at the detail and history in the buildings architecture really adds to where you are & the overall atmosphere of the place. I mean they still have the ticket machine where your little brown ticket stub used to pop up in front of you after paying the clerk. Its not used anymore but keeping details like this along with using old film reels for tables & displaying old projectors as museum pieces in the bar all adds to the charm of the place. If you live, moved to or are just visiting Worthing then going to the Dome Cinema is a must and it should go straight to the top of your “to do” list.
Watched a film in the small Screen 3. What a treat. Small but plenty big enough. Super comfy large arm chair seating!!! No flip up seats nonsense. Able to book exact seats online. What a bargain! Best cinema experience in years. Highly recommended.

Love this theatre they offer loads of variety and the seats are very comfy. Great staff, nice bar upstairs too. I've been to see comedy, plays, kids shows, musicals, panto, cinema and music here. Plus I've bought vouchers for friends too. Well worth checking out ☺️
Chose to see 'A Quiet Place' in the Connaught Studio. Great sound and a clear picture. However, I would prefer those seats closest to the screen at the sides to be angled inward to enhance neck comfort for the viewer. If this is not possible then a small reduction in ticket price to allow for this would be helpful. Overall, the theatre was clean and well ventilated. Staff were friendly and polite and there were enough to cope with a sold out performance. Would be nice to have access to refreshments just outside the screen as a queue can develop in the main foyer. Would definitely recommend repeated visits as the experience of enjoying such a historic building can satisfy nostalgia fans everywhere. Organised tours of the building and its history would be of interest I'm sure.

Nice theatre right on the sea front with comfortable, large bar area. Parking was cheap & easy. Decor in theatre a bit tired and the seats have seen better days with split upholstery. It was a warm evening and the theatre was very hot with little ventilation. Staff were excellent ☺️
Great show. Theatre could use some tlc. Good lighting and sound facilities, but decor bordering on filthy in places. Seating is not flip down like a theatre type seat, but rather padded individual chairs as you may expect at say, a wedding reception. Some of these have seen better days being torn and sticky in places. Not tiered, so seats near the front are essential for a good view. Toilet facilities are very good and the well serviced bar has surprisingly reasonable prices. From what I observed, disabled facilities are also very good. All in all, depending on the type of performance you may be attending I would say if you can ignore the defects, this is an OK place to spend a couple of hours.

Big space for a gig, but a sell out crowd only fills half of it. That's good when it's really hot but kind of kills the atmosphere. The bar needs more people or to train their staff and organise the bar so that they can serve the big crowds.
Nice classic venue.. Saw Gary Numan here, great view of stage and good sound. Bar had issues with draught beer,so that was stopped and then ran out of bottles very quickly... Lots of people not impressed...

Congratulations to the Rainbow theatre for another fantastic show in 2018, allowing some of us to escape the World Cup. I have occasionally missed this over the last 20 years, but have also managed to catch both shows some years, and whether its comedy or tragedy, its heartily recommended for young and old. Particularly enjoyed the puppetry of crab the dog in the Two Gentlemen of Verona, the weather was perfect, but even in the rain, its a brilliant experience, and excellent value. Worthing's best kept secret.
